SmartSheffield 11 - City-scale Systems

We're back after the summer break to take a look at some large-scale city technology initiatives and host friendly debate about them, along with networking and refreshments, kindly provided by Arup.

The SmartSheffield meetup is an "open space" where anyone with something to say about urban technology and innovation can come and present to an audience of around forty people from across the smart city community in Sheffield - people from the public, private and academic sectors as well as interested citizens are all welcome.

Register soon though, as we're limited to 40 tickets and they always get reserved quickly.

There will also be a meeting of the Things Network Sheffield beforehand from 5pm.

The group is open for anyone to come along, find out what’s going on and contribute - the main aims are to bring people together who share an interest in using technology to improve the city and the lives of its citizens, and to discover, discuss, get involved in and give birth to local smart city projects and initiatives.

We employ Sheffield Digital's Code of Conduct and abide by the standards it lays down.
