It's that time of year again... time to encourage young people to hack and get excited about programming!
Young Rewired State is a nationwide open data hack week, or Festival of Code, for under 18s, running from the 5th to the 11th of August.
We're having a centre in Edinburgh again this year, in Appleton Tower. The young people who are coming have a broad range of skills and experiences, and mentors are crucial to ensuring they can make the most of their experience. Not only programming, if you can help with idea generation, UI design or presentation skills we'd love to have you.
If you'd like to help out, for as much or as little of the week as you like, please register on the YRS website! Snacks will be provided throughout the week.

YRS is a nationwide, week long hack event for developers under 19.
With centres all over the country, hundreds of young people take part, supported by volunteer mentors.
The week ends with a Festival of Code in Birmingham; a final overnight hack and prizes for the participants.
