Legal Hackers Scotland: Grenfell Tower Support Hackathon - Glasgow City Centre, 24 + 25 June 2017

This weekend, we are uniting non-techies and techies alike, to show our support to those affected by the Grenfell Tower disaster. All skill-sets welcome! The aim of the hackathon is to rapidly scope and prototype solutions to help with the ongoing response and assistance.

Everyone can make a valuable contribution. In particular, we need people who can research and collate information on the support on offer, to help us finalise a mobile app we are aiming to deploy imminently.

We have also begun brainstorming other ideas, and would love to get some more solutions built during the weekend based on yours too.

There’s plenty of opportunity for some machine learning, text processing and data mining to cluster, categorise and curate important information from social media and make it more easily found by those who need it.

We hope to see you there!
