Creating Robots that Care - An Evening of Social Robotics at Glasgow University
BCS Women, the Athena Swan Committee and SICSA would like to invite you to the annual Karen Spärck Jones showcase lecture.
To honour the pioneering work of Karen Spärck Jones, the BCS holds a distinguished lecture in her name each year, celebrating a prominent female computing researcher. This is aimed at a wide general audience: we welcome all ages and levels of computing experience. This lecture will be delivered by Dr Maja Matarić and will be streamed live at Glasgow University.
This event is for everyone. You do not need to be associated with the University of Glasgow, nor a member of BCSWomen, and both men and women will be made very welcome.
