Open Rights Group Brighton: All Member Meeting - come and organise ORG Brighton!

These meetings are for us to come together and review what we have been up to in the previous month and plan our upcoming events over some nice food and drink :) They are monthly, normally on the first Wednesday of the month (we got bumped by the Espionage Act talk this month which was part of a national ORG campaign).

We will use the Lean Coffee format so that the meetings are run democratically and because it is easy and fun.

We have already had requests for an event about the schools census (see this event by ORG Bristol for more info) and to run some more cryptoparties but please do bring along any ideas you feel ORG Brighton should be focusing on.

While our events should of course promote the work and campaigns of ORG the only real restrictions are our budget and the requirement that our meetings are open to all regardless of policy or IT knowledge.

We would also love to hear from anyone who could help with filming our events and from anyone who could provide technical support for the cryptoparties.

We hope to see you at the meeting - we chose the Fountain Head as its central, serves nice food and drink and is accessible. If you have any suggestions for venues for future events just let us know!

Hey! Do I have to attend these meetings to have a say in what our group does?

No. You can suggest anything at any time by contacting your organisers direct here on Meetup (Damian and Obs), by email: [masked] or Twitter: @ORGBrighton.

You can also start a discussion with the whole group via our email list: lists.openrightsgroup.org (the meetings minutes and actions will be shared via this list too).

Anything proposed via these methods by people who cannot make the meeting will be proposed on your behalf by the organisers.
