Hope everyone is having a good new year!
I'd like to start the year by suggesting an informal CryptoParty Newcastle meetup sometime in the coming weeks. This won't be a formal CryptoParty, but a social event where we can discuss all things privacy/security/crypto - or just whatever everyone feels like talking about.
As always, all are welcome to attend!
The above is not a fixed date/time, so expect it to change based on what people think. I picked a weekend since I'm expecting that will be easiest for most people, and the pub in question is usually quiet and very close to Newcastle train station for easy access. If you have other suggestions though, please feel free to comment in the forum thread linked below.
