A celebration of technology in everyday life and beyond, feature amazing speakers and unique insights, plus lightning talks and more!

This we've secured a stellar line-up, including Dr Lucy Rogers, engineer, author and a judge on the new series of the Robot Wars TV show. Also Geoff White, Channel 4 News technology journalist, who will be giving a talk on the information that your mobile phone leaks. Lots of other greats talks also, including one on a fantastic art project using lasers to project moving images onto clouds, from an aircraft.

Although the Festival Day is not strictly about open technologies, the focus is very much one of sharing experiences and insights. It serves as the launch day for the Wuthering Bytes technology festival, which has a heavy focus on open source hardware, software and data.
