Westminster eForum: The UK broadband market: technology, competition and policy priorities

This seminar focuses on the future of the broadband market in the UK - examining progress with roll-out, innovation and access, the future landscape for competition and services, and priorities for policy.

It will also be an opportunity to discuss the conclusion of Ofcom’s Digital Communications Review.

Areas for discussion include: progress on the strategy for broadband delivery, with a keynote contribution from Chris Townsend, Chief Executive, BDUK; developments in 5G and Ultra-Fast; reaching rural and inner-city 'not spots'; business and domestic consumer demand trends; the market going forward, including quadplay and service bundling, and the developing service and pricing battlefronts; next steps for eskills and digital inclusion programmes and policy priorities in light of Ofcom’s Digital Communications Review.
