Sheffield as a Smart City

At this event we’ll hear local case studies which demonstrate how Sheffield is using information and technology to enhance quality, reduce costs and engage with residents.

We’ve got three great speakers lined up for the first Entrepreneur’s Forum of the year, who will share case studies covering; smart mobility and transportation, digital inclusion and an overview of the current smart city scene in Sheffield.

We’re going to be joined by Sam Chapman, Director at The Floow, a telematic system designed to make vehicles cheaper and safer; Anna Osbourne, Head of Marketing at Tinder Foundation, a social enterprise that tackles social challenges through digital solutions; and Chris Dymond, Director at Unfolding, who provide advice and project management for digital transformation, innovation and smart city initiatives.

Following the talks, you’ll have the chance to continue the discussions in more depth and ask our speakers any questions you might have. We’re going to have some tasty greek food, plenty of drinks and loads of networking opportunities, so we hope you can join us!
