Understanding Your Users - Design Thinking Workshop
To define what your users really need, we have to carry out research in a way that avoids any biases or preconceptions you might have. It is vital to have a documented, evidence based understanding of who you’re creating for and what problems you are solving for them.
This workshop will be led by Allan Noy, Head of Creative at Hive IT and Martin Smith, UX Director at Hive IT.
This is the first workshop of our three-part series. All of the workshops have been designed to be engaging, hands-on and packed with practical insights that you can start using right away. You can attend one, two or all three sessions - whatever works best for you!
Who should attend
These workshops are designed to be inclusive and for everyone, whether you’re a designer, researcher, product manager, business owner or simply curious about Design Thinking. We welcome anyone interested in improving their approach to user-centered design and problem-solving, whether you are a complete novice or well experienced in using design thinking principles.
What to expect
The session will take place on Zoom and you will:
Learn research techniques to gather insights directly from your users
See ways of analysing your research to give useful real world insights
Use what you’ve learned to create artefacts to understand your users and their experiences
Why you should attend
These workshops are more than just presentations, they are interactive experiences where you can ask questions, participate in activities and apply what you are learning immediately. You will have the chance to connect with industry experts and like-minded people, expanding both your knowledge and your network.
You can sign up for one, two or all three workshops. Spaces are limited, with only 8 free spaces available on each workshop.
We can’t wait to see you there and are excited to help you on your Design Thinking journey.
