OWASP London Chapter In-Person Meetup

The next OWASP London Chapter in-person meetup will take place on Thursday 3rd August 2023 (6:00pm doors, 6:30pm talks kick off) at Plexal, Press Centre, Here East (Olympic Park Stratford).

TALKS:

OWASP Introduction, Welcome and News - Sam Stepanyan

Welcome and a brief update on OWASP Projects & Conferences

Talk 1: "DevSecOps Maturity Model (DSOMM): From Theory to Enforcement " - Raz Probstein

The OWASP DevSecOps Maturity Model provides an excellent framework for companies looking to truly apply security in a cloud native and fast-paced engineering world. However, like all things Dev+Ops related, whatever isn't automated is much more difficult to apply to our systems. We'll show you how.

Talk 2: "Doing More with Less: Practical Applications for Generative AI in Cybersecurity" - Matt Adams

This talk will demonstrate how generative AI can act as a productivity multiplier for cybersecurity teams, enabling them to do more high-value work with the same resources. Through live demos, attendees will see AI-powered tools that can automatically generate threat models, create security awareness materials, and automate security scanning and reporting - saving security teams valuable time. Attendees will come away with an understanding of how generative AI can be applied to help cybersecurity teams “do more with less” and elevate their capabilities.
