Ministry of Testing - Sheffield (ShefTest): Reindeer Games

It's almost that time of the year again... 🎅🎄🎁 The ShefTest Elves have been hard at work putting together another fun festive meetup.

Things have been a bit different this year, and unfortunately that goes for our usual round of HTFDYT* too. But we've put together a couple of tenuously seasonal challenges for you instead.

There's the 'not entirely festive but hopefully still fun' Scavenger Hunt.
And also an 'only festive because it contains the word Rudolf' API Challenge. All you will need is an internet enabled device and your sharpest of wits.

Plus our Christmas Jumper competition has been extended to 'Best Festive Background'. Real life trumps digital I'm afraid - so just changing your video background probably won't cut it...

We hope you'll have some fun, and maybe even learn something new too. There might even be prizes! So put up some tinsel, grab a mince pie or three and come join in.

---

The rough running order for the evening will be:

6:30 - Virtual Doors open
7:00 - The games begin!
8:30 (or whenever we run out of steam) - Back downstairs to eat more Quality Street and panic that you haven't done any christmas shopping yet...

(*'How the f*** do you test...' will almost certainly return next year, providing Iain can think of another good film to pick apart!)
---

As always, if you'd like to sponsor, host or speak at a future event then please do get in touch! And don't forget to keep an eye on the Meetup page or on www.twitter.com for details of upcoming events.

Big thanks to our sponsors - Tech Parks who would ordinarily be letting us use their wonderful meeting space! And Ministry of Testing for just existing and being awesome.
