On the 27th, will be joined by Antoinette Ross who is kindly going to give a talk on The Three C's: Courage, Connection, Contagion.

In this presentation Antoinette will shine a light into the gap between the potential of applying the Agile methodology and what happens in reality. She identifies three organising principles of human behaviour that, once understood, expose the oftentimes invisible gumption traps that Agile teams fall into.

Antoinette will explain how our neurobiology is wired for connection and stress resilience and how social isolation and loneliness leads to distress and social pain. She will highlight the connection between the Agile value of courage and how to turn it into practice. Lastly, she will demonstrate how emotion affects our cognition, attitudes and behaviour and how it is often the invisible influencer in the room.

We hope her talk will provoke some Q&A with the group which will we may do in break our rooms or en-masse, depending on numbers.

Bio:
Antoinette Ross is the Founder and Managing Director of Withinsight Coaching and Training, an award-winning consultancy based in the UK with a client base that spans the globe. Her professional background is in recruitment, business coaching, management consultancy and drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Her obsession with social research shines through her coaching, presentations and training programmes which are all rigorously underpinned by the very latest evidenced based research. Much of her current work with clients involves running diagnostics to identify the levels of psychological safety, creativity, collaboration and conflict within a team before designing an intervention that will address the root cause of the issue. She is a regular speaker at conferences where she shares her in depth knowledge of neuroscience, resilience and leadership.
