Queer Code Scotland is a new meetup bringing together LGBTQ+ people with an interest in technology.

"The Raspberry Pi is a small single-board computer for students, hobbyists, artists and hackers.
In this talk, I will show how you can download the latest version of the Raspbian operating system, and get started with the Raspberry Pi. I will show how it is very easy to set up interactive projects, even with no prior electronics knowledge, using an add-on "Sense" board that can be programmed with Python.
I will demo a number of projects using the Raspberry Pi, including a retro gaming system, a web server, a time-lapse video camera, a Pi-powered Amazon Alexa speaker, and a robot. We’ll then aim to have a hands-on session, where people can get into small groups, view the demos in more detail, and optionally, try some simple programming on a Raspberry Pi."

Accessibility info
The venue is wheelchair accessible, and there is no ramp or stairs from the street to the seminar space on L4. The lifts do not announce floor numbers, but there is a screen on the left hand side of the lift that shows the floor number and destination floor. The door have push buttons to open them. The toilets large enough for a wheelchair, have grab rails, cord alarms and lowered sinks.
