EIT Digital: Digital Tech Networking Event

EIT Digital is a leading European digital innovation and entrepreneurial education organisation driving Europe’s digital transformation. We invite you to a Digital Tech focused event in Edinburgh on Thursday, 21st November, 13.00 until 18.00.

The half-day event is focussed on 5G and Future Wireless Communications and provides an opportunity to learn about co-funding opportunities for applied research with EIT Digital's Doctoral Schools and collaborative innovation projects through EIT Digital's €80M annual call.

EIT Digital in Scotland is funded by our partners Scottish Enterprise and Scottish Funding Council. We are also supported by Highlands & Islands Enterprise, FinTech Scotland, Edinburgh Innovations and University of Edinburgh.

Core digital technologies are the basis of our economy’s and society’s deep digital transformation. EIT Digital invents our digital future with novel communication, computing and cybersecurity technologies, especially software. These technologies are not only a necessity to serve vertical segments: they are also driving a massive number of students, addressing the shortage of specialists in digital, and offering major innovations and opportunities for GDP growth. Europe needs to stay in the lead in the areas where it is currently strong (networking, 5G, IoT), play a leadership role in digital’s next platform revolution (artificial intelligence) and establish broad trust in digital (cybersecurity, privacy).
