Impact48: LGBT Youth, Scotland Charity hack

“LGBT Youth are Scotland’s national charity for LGBTI young people, working with 13–25 year olds across the country. Our goal is to make Scotland the best place to grow up for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex young people. We play a leading role in the provision of quality youth work to LGBTI young people that promotes their health and wellbeing, and are a valued and influential partner in LGBTI equality and human rights.”

THE CHALLENGE

This weekend’s challenge is to help the charity build on the success of their “Purple Friday : Turn Scotland Purple” campaign. This will involve helping to even further increase the campaign’s reach and to build a technical solution automating the process of updating a map of Scotland based on social media interactions.
The charity also has a number of other challenges which we may tackle, depending on the numbers and skills of our volunteer team for the weekend.
