18:20 - 18:30 Simon Montford (WEB3//IOT)

Open Forum; members are invited to make announcements, share news, seek project collaborators, promote their IoT events, and request topics for future Meetups.

18:30 - 18:50 Michael Cockburn (Shoal )

Today it's possible to summon a huge selection of on-demand services. Everything from fast food and transportation to manicures and massages can be delivered to you with the click of an app! Another huge growth area is the sharing economy, where unused assets are borrowed or rented out by the owner. The same concept is being applied to privately owned spaces by Shoal. It works by allowing members to share their home or office with other like-minded people, because they believe life is better when you’re surrounded by inspiring people.

18:50 - 19.10 Steve Jeans (Aura Survey)

Aura survey provides innovative survey services for the construction and real estate sectors. The company uses UAVs to model sites in incredible detail in a matter of days, rather than weeks using traditional methods. They specialise in all aspects of land and building survey - from 3D laser scanning, aerial survey, boundary mapping and topographical survey through to building energy modelling.

19:10 - 19:30 David Hunter (Shot Scope)

David is the CEO and Founder of Shot Scope, an Edinburgh-based company, which has developed the first fully automated performance tracking system for golf. The product is designed, manufactured and engineered in Scotland and brings wearable technology to the golf industry. The system conforms to the Rules of Golf and has been used on the European Tour and Ladies European Tour.
