This month the talk, by Laurence Billingham, is about using Machine Learning to predict solar magnetic storms.
The talk is scheduled to take place at 8pm, with people arriving at our upstairs room from 7:30. Most of us meet downstairs for a meal before the talk, usually from about 6:15.
We meet in Sportsters Bar, 8 - 12 Princes Street Falkirk FK1 1LU from 6:30 pm and the evening is about chatting. All are welcome, it doesn't matter if it is your first time there, and it doesn't matter if you turn up with a notepad full of questions, there should be someone who can answer them.
Look for a double table on the raised bit on the left with a fluffy Linux penguin on it.
There is a room on the first floor, to the left of the bar, where talks are held.
