SpaceApps Glasgow: International Space Apps Challenge Glasgow 2016

Space Apps Glasgow is the local event for the global International Space
Apps Challenge yearly organised by NASA. Joining 180+ other locations
around the world, and 16,000+ people participating both at the events
and virtually, people tackle challenges posed dealing with open data,
various science fields, and the outreach of science.

The broad themes this year are 6 fold. Aeronautics, Earth, The Solar
System, Journey to Mars, The Space Station, and Technology.

This year, Glasgow Space Apps will be taking place on the 23-24th of
April, at Glasgow Caledonian University's Saltire Centre. We expect to
have between 30-60 people attend locally, a majority of them university
students. The event is open to everyone who wishes to take part.

The aim of the event is to provide an environment for participants to
form teams to tackle the given challenges in a cooperative environment.
