Securi-Tay was started a year ago by a team of students on the Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures course at the University of Abertay. After attending different conferences, we noticed that there weren’t many security-focused conferences in Scotland. The aim was simple – an annual, student-led security conference in the heart of Scotland to get both students and industry communicating. While this is only the second year running, we wish to build on our success from the previous year and offer more talks - making Securi-Tay an event you will want to have in your calendar every year.

Though a large percentage of our member base is comprised of students from the University of Abertay Dundee, we also welcome members from the information security industry, and any other information security enthusiasts.
