Ampere.Events X STP Investor Event + !PITCHING!

Join us as we convene 50 Founders and 50 Investors to showcase SY talent and reinvigorate the investment landscape in our home of Sheffield.

Are you a Founder looking to supercharge your business? Do you need funding and advice to scale up and achieve your vision? Is it starting to dawn on you that South Yorkshire has a limited pool of regional investors and you want to broaden the horizon of your network?

As a region we are one of the most innovative, collaborative and creative seen throughout the entire UK. With our culture of unity, camaraderie and knowledge-sharing, alongside housing leading innovative companies, world-class startups, two fantastic Universities, a deep and wide pool of talent, and competitive operational costs, it is no small secret that South Yorkshire is becoming the Startup Capital of the UK. And yet, we are often overlooked by external funding sources and struggle to secure the investments we need to realise our entrepreneurial visions.

What can we collectively do to remedy this? Perhaps we at Ampere-STP have found a solution which can kickstart the change our region deserves.

This is an Ampere & STP event unlike any which have come before! We will be convening investors who have never before ventured to our home of Sheffield. The goal of this event is to showcase the exceptional breadth and depth of talent we have on display in South Yorkshire to a new audience of potential investors. This event offers a chance for Founders to rub shoulders with top-tier angels and VCs from around the UK.

Come along and help us impress our visitors with your ideas, teams, goals and achievements. Receive insightful feedback to refine your business model and growth strategies. Make invaluable connections for future funding rounds. This is all possible in the electric networking environment we've specially designed for founders and funders to seamlessly connect.

The event will involve several pre-agreed companies pitching to a panel and audience, however, there will be over an hour of networking during the event and informal drinks afterwards at a location to be decided.

Xmas Startup Staff Party, Founders Bring Your Teams!

Founders bring your staff to our collective Xmas Staff Party! A night of festive celebration, with Live Music, Karaoke, and Food Vendors.

Ampere.Events warmly invites all founders, entrepreneurs, and innovators of the North to join us for our Xmas Startup Staff Party at Yellow Arch Studios! An occasion for teams to come together, share a wonderful night of celebration, and indulge in the festive spirit! We hope this brings together the community of Northern business-folk Ampere is committed to assembling in our By Founder For Founders series and collectively commemorate a great year for this city, whilst ushering in the next in style. Get ready for a night of live music, DJs, Karaoke, fantastic food, and of course a drop or two of Mulled Wine!

At the event there will be:
Two food vendors.
A karaoke room where guests can bond over the joy of singing.
Live music all night on the main stage. Expect a variety of Bands and DJs.

This event provides the unique opportunity to consolidate the bonds between business actors in the region, and combine the strengthening of Northern ties with the joys of a work do!

Yellow Arch Studios who will house our jamboree recently celebrated their 26th Birthday, proving their status as a pioneer of the Kelham Island music movement. The venue where Arctic Monkeys created and recorded their first album and the likes of Bring Me the Horizon, Skrillex, and Wretch 32 have been known to make music! Yellow Arch Studios is a true cultural heritage venue for Sheffield music situated in the industrial heartlands of Kelham. This is a fantastic venue with an amazing main stage/dancefloor, a side room with a bar and karaoke set up, and a spacious and cosy courtyard with covered seating and space for the vendors.

Ampere.Events in partnership with Creative Space Management invites you to join us for the second event in our By Founders, For Founder series: Funding, Grants, Angels, and VCs.

After a fantastic debut, we are looking to build upon the collective of innovators, creatives and founders who assembled for our startup, growth hacking event. This event will focus on how to approach investors of all types to maximise potential success. We will delve into the frustrations Startups and SMEs face in Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A and B funding rounds and problematise the tactics you can use to circumvent some of the egregious aspects of the process.

Join us as we continue to uphold our commitment to our mission, which is to raise the ambition ceiling of the North by establishing a business social network which sparks a Northern culture of sharing and collaborating. We seek to bring together founders and entrepreneurs from the North together to collectively share our experiences, learn from our failures and celebrate our successes. We envision this network to inaugurate a community of support, innovation, contact, and unity between creatives, entrepreneurs, and founders.

Ampere.Events will act as a networking opportunity for founders at all stages along their journeys to meet, and share their experiences, knowledge, wisdom, and support. This experience will assist in the building of connections between like-minded individuals. Join us as we embark on our mission to create a collective for integrated and cohesive growth in the North.
