We are changing ORG London events so our fantastic members can contribute more!
*excuse the longer preamble than usual!*
It’s clear from our workshops and interactive sessions that everyone has a lot of interesting things to say and we want to give you a chance to do just that.
Two ORG London members have become group organisers, Allum and Grant. They came up with the idea of holding Lightning Talks. If it's really popular we'll make it a regular event, so let us know!
Lightning Talks
Lightning Talks are a series of short talks by group members to other members of the community. It’s a chance for you to present a project or thoughts or ideas at ORG London.
The evening will be on the theme of 'Campaigning and Activism', where we invite group members and supporters to tell us a bit about their experience. Future events will have different themes.
By ‘Campaigning and Activism’ we mean:
Experience of campaigning and spreading the word about an issue you care about, e.g. a big campaign win you were involved in or a campaign loss that you learnt something from or something in the middle. It does not have to be about UK-based activism focused on digital rights or the work of Open Rights Group.
Submit your talk or come hear others speak and think about whether your might want to present something at the next one.
Please follow the signs to the Nomad Studio on the third floor - arrive from 7.00pm - there will be light refreshments.
