Propellor is a cross-genre ensemble with ambitious vision. Loom combines recordings across waves, wetlands and water channels with virtuosic instrumental writing, live electronics and video projection to produce an ‘in the round’ live experience, effortlessly blending folk, contemporary classical, electronic and jazz influences with field recordings and spoken word. Loom carries the imprint and identity of where it is performed, featuring local Sheffield voices.
