Sharon is tasked with innovating with, and leading the design of technical solutions for IBM’s clients in the travel and transportation industry. She also provides leadership to the technical community and works to increase IBM’s relevance to and eminence in this marketplace. Sharon’s qualifications for this role are built on several years of experience of consulting with IBM’s clients in digital engagement solutions and systems underpinned with intelligence, and also working as lead architect on several integration programmes within IBM’s services divisions.
Sharon is a board member of CENSIS, the Innovation Centre for Sensor and Imaging Systems. She was recently presented with the 'Inspirational Women in Leadership"'award at the inaugural Scotland Women in Technology Awards. Sharon has been included in a PWC article in The Scotsman as a top 10 Digital Disruptor in Scotland, and listed in Computer Weekly's Top 50 Women of Influence 2017 and Business Cloud's 100 Women in Technology.

Andrew Darley, BlockChain Leader, Cloud Europe, IBM
Blockchain in 2018: moving from Hype to Reality

Andrew Darley is the leader for IBM Blockchain in Europe. He has been active in Blockchain projects since 2015 and is involved with clients in many different Industries as they move to production implementations in 2018. Previously Andrew headed up Platform as a Service in the Cloud for IBM Europe working with clients at the beginning of the Cloud revolution. In many ways there are similarities between the rapid growth in Blockchain technology today and Cloud 5 years ago. Both are revolutionising the market, enabling new business processes and enabling companies to be more innovative and agile.
