Agile Sheffield: SAFe Planning in Action Workshop

Please Note: We KNOW the date unfortunately clashes with UX Sheffield. We like and attend that meetup too. Feel free to take your pick for this month, and as we have been doing we will try and avoid the clash at all costs going forward :-)

EVENT SUMMARY
For November's Agile Sheffield we bring you the SAFe Planning in Action Workshop by Nick and Aaron McKenna.

• 6.30 - Meet, network, grab a drink

• 7-9 - SAFe Planning in action workshop

• 9 - Network, drink for the road

THE EVENT
The Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) has a special event that is held for every Program Increment (5 sprints-ish). This is a large scale, collaborative event including everyone from the Agile Release Train (50 to 125 people). These workshops are highly interactive events where all participants are involved in one of many teams collaborating together to plan a single Program Increment for a single product. The schedule roughly contains:

· Overview of SAFe® Program Increment Planning
· (Fictional) Business Context
· Product / Solution Vision
· Architecture Vision And Development Practices
· Planning Session 1
· Draft Plan Review
· Planning Session 2
· Final Plan Review
· Risk ROAMing
· Confidence Vote
· Retrospective

These will be fast-paced, high octane sessions with a lot of fun!
