With the seemingly exponential rise of connected devices from wearables to smart home devices, automotive and beyond there is a need to build interfaces to allow low effort interactions. Humans are naturally wired for speech. This combined with improvements in speech recognition and natural language understanding are making voice the ideal interface. We will look at the growth of the ubiquitous voice revolution and how it stands to transform the way we interact with connected devices.

Sérgio will talk about his work in the area of low-power hardware, Biologing, and marine animal borne telemetry. His work focuses on hardware and making sure data collected from remote sensors is transmitted accurately.
