CodeTheCity Aberdeen

A full weekend of civic hacking over 21st and 22nd June at the Meston Building, University of Aberdeen.

At Code the City we focus on some key areas:

- Achieving social good
- Improving local services
- Sharing skills and knowledge across disciplines
- Using and creating open data and Open Government Data (OGD)
- Open source
- Quick delivery of real results

Over the course of the weekend you will help to deliver prototype services to assist our communities in accessing existing services, and to help facilitate the creation of new services. These prototypes will take the form of websites, web apps and more.

With access to exciting technology and data, and supported by experts in various fields, this is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a passionate team on problems that matter.

Free to attend and fully catered, you'll be well looked after all weekend so you can focus on making a difference to your city.
