Lean Agile Glasgow: Emily Webber - Networks, Serendipity and the Flow of Ideas

For our November event, we have Agile and Digital Delivery Consultant, coach, trainer, speaker, and author of the excellent, "Building Successful Communities of Practice", Emily Webber.

Description: "Networks, Serendipity and the Flow of Ideas"

There is power in networks and the connections between people. Organisations where ideas can freely flow between people, are more successful, smarter and more innovative than ones where knowledge lives in silos. In this session, Emily will explain some of the research and concepts behind networks and idea flow. She will share some ways that you can use to help increase the power of internal networks, even when working from home is the norm.

Bio: Emily Webber is a London-based independent Agile consultant, coach, trainer and speaker. Her focus is on creating the right environments for people and teams to succeed. At GDS, she created the widely-followed approach and maturity model for communities of practice and subsequently authored Building Successful Communities of Practice.
