  • This is a meetup to focus on data and technology-based solutions, aiming to combat violence and abuse in relationships.

In recent months we contacted, interviewed, and ran workshops alongside Charities large and small. It has become very apparent that the resources for support towards people in abusive relationships is very fragmented.

We believe in an idea to build a complete service, that has victims and survivors at its core, making available all relevant information and putting them in directly contact with the appropriate support network according to the stage of their journey. They could simply need reassurance to make a positive decision, may need legal help, need shelter or financial support. It will also consider their background or whether they are from marginalised groups - such as LGBTQI and or migrant women.

Our mission is to support with the help of data and tech whoever is in an abusive relationship knowing there are tools, services, and groups they can connect to. Th...

  • Join this AI for Good Community meetup focused on Statistical Modelling for infectious diseases in humanitarian settings!

Crisis Modelling's Simulator is a web tool for NGOs, local authorities and grassroots organizations to model infectious disease outbreaks inside refugee camps and urban slums to prepare timely and proportionate response measures needed to flatten the curve and reduce the number of fatalities. The simulator helps to predict the worst possible outbreak scenarios for each new wave and their potential outcomes and help NGOs design an optimal intervention strategy.

We are looking for volunteers to help us in any of the following areas.
    - Front End Developers (HTML, CSS)
    - UX/UI Designers
    - Epidemiologists
    - Statistical Modelling Experts

We need your help to build an interactive dashboard tool that allows decision-makers to set the parameters of their camp and assess the pandemic trajectory to deploy necessary interventions.

  • This project seeks to develop a tool that would help to accelerate and simplify the adaptation of the workforce for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The tool, in the form of an AI coach, would be an end-to-end talent reskilling platform that automates talent skill mapping, identifies future skill needs, and bridges the two by finding personalised critical paths for reskilling and real job opportunities.

We would utilize machine learning technology to analyse every person’s skill pool and potential, against the labour market of the future. The aim is to find the quickest and most cost-efficient way for every person’s professional development. Moreover, lowering entry barriers to training and education would benefit the less educated, women, ethnic minorities and young people, who are particularly exposed to unemployment in the face of the decline of lower-wage occupations. Whilst our jobs can be replaceable or redundant, the people behind them are capable of evolution, adaptation and...
