A meet up for people interested in using technology to positively change the world.
We believe it’s never been easier to use digital to help tackle some of our society’s toughest social challenges.
But the disparate worlds of tech and social good don’t naturally collide. So, we want to create a space where digital people can mix with those who really understand and work with social issues –aiming to inspire and learn from each other.
Each meet up will involve four speakers followed by an hour for socialising; two will talk about problems they’re trying to solve. The second two will share stories of problems solved and lessons learned.
The talks will be followed by time to socialise and share ideas over food (plenty of veggie/vegan options available) and drink (alcoholic and non). We may well head to a local pub to continue conversations at the end of the night, if people want to.
