Open Rights Group Brighton: Brighton Pavilion 'Civil Liberties' Hustings - Quiz Your Future MP!

Brighton residents (and those interested in nearby areas) are invited to attend this free event, giving you the opportunity to ask parliamentary candidates in Brighton Pavilion what they think about Civil Liberties and Human Rights.

Not sure if you live in Brighton Pavilion? Find out here: yournextmp.com ;

All of the candidates have been invited and those definitely attending are: Caroline Lucas (Green), Purna Sen (Labour), Clarence Mitchell (Conservative), Chris Bowers (Liberal Democrat), Nigel Carter (UKIP), Howard Pilott (The Socialist Party of Great Britain) and Nick Yeomans (Independent).

There will be prepared questions on the Human Rights Act, Freedom of Speech and Surveillance. The rest will be from the audience on the night.

We will have volunteers passing microphones to audience members to ask their questions!

There will then be 40 minutes of pre-prepared questions and 40 minutes of questions from the audience.

This event is free and open to the public. Please arrive at the Friends Meeting House from 7pm for refreshments in the cafe and a 7.30pm start in the main meeting hall.

Any questions or to RSVP without using MeetUp, please email: [masked]

See you there! :)
