TechUG - the IT Pro Community: Technology.UG - London

Join us at our vendor neutral technology event at the Grange St Paul's Hotel, London on the 14th May. Our events are FREE to attend and are run by a committee of independent volunteers. Our aim is to provide an informative, educational environment where both delegates and sponsors can network in a relaxed atmosphere. This season we will be discussing hyper-convergence and the future of integrating virtualisation, storage and the datacentre.

Come along for a chance to win some exciting prizes, meet local like-minded peers and learn from those already realising the benefits of virtualisation.

Who attends?
Our delegates are IT professionals in roles such as Infrastructure Engineer, Technical Architect and IT Manager. The programme is designed with this in mind, however, anyone with a professional interest in our user group streams is welcome at our events.

For more information visit our website at www.technology.ug or contact us by email at kimi.smith@technology.ug or by phone on 01423 593134.

TechUG - the IT Pro Community exists to provide networking and knowledge sharing for IT architects, developers, engineers & managers. We incorporate individual user group themes including Virtualisation, Storage, Datacentre and Open Source. Each user group has its own community headed up by an IT Pro chairman at each of our locations across the UK.

Our independence from vendors and resellers enables the membership to come together, freely share experiences, express opinions and consider all solutions without favour. By introducing people, we look to create opportunities, assist professional development and foster a sense of local community.

Originally starting in Leeds, we now have communities in 8 cities across the UK&I including Birmingham, Cardiff, Dublin, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester, and Newcastle. Each local branch hosts biannual ‘mini’ conferences with presentations in the latest best practice, techniques and ideas. The agenda addresses the requirements of the local community (not sales or marketing departments) and is the starting point for the day’s conversations during the break out sessions.

By bringing together different user groups and encouraging networking throughout the day, our conferences break down the glass walls typical within the IT sector.
